jacob jensen weather station 2 – update
We posted this article recently regarding the new Jacob Jensen Weather Station 2 range.
We’ve just had news that the range is expected around the end of August/start of September.
Prices, though not yet confirmed, are expected to be around £99 for the Hygrometer and Thermometer modules and £75 for the additional sensors.
We’ll keep you posted.

Jamie and Mark from j-me have been busy over the last few months, we’ve seen the new nest shoe racks, the wave coat racks, the cactus wine rack and now, to make a change from designing racks, the cozy remote caddy.
Unless you’ve splashed out on a nice all in one remote control (which, in my opinion, tend to be wildly over complicated and never quite cover all the functions of the proper remote) then you’ve probably got an ever increasing number of remote controls kicking round in your living room. The j-me cozy remote caddy is a stylish way to keep all those remotes nicely stored in one place (and you can put your mobile in it as well if you like).

2009 sees the launch of the new Jacob Jensen Weather Station 2

With the new JACOB JENSEN™ Weather Station II, weather forecasting becomes more than forecasting.
Get the instant feeling of your indoor climate or whether to wear the heavy overcoat when going out, by simply taking a rapid glance at your new weather station.
The bars indicate whether it’s humid, dry, cold or warm. If accuracy is needed the bars transform into exact digital numbers by means of pressing the centre button. If accuracy is always a must, you can choose to set the display in a permanent digital mode.
A new generation for the new generation
Through the years Jacob Jensen Design has become synonymous with elegant lines and functional design for a wide range of products – from glasses to watches, telephones, weather stations and numerous other products.
The new series of weather products is designed for Bell Xpress A/S and the idea behind is to give the user easy access to quick information on different weather measurements, as well as bringing an update of both technology and design to the market..
The first products in the new innovative, functional and cordless weather station series are the JACOB JENSEN™ Thermometer II Silver Version, the Hygrometer II Silver Version and the Multi Sensor. The combination of silver aluminium and black elements creates a series which appeals to the many due to the sharp and pure lines. The elements fit quietly and stylishly into any home.
The Weather Station II is a modular built series enabling you to build up the range according to your wishes and needs. The Multi Sensor supports both products. Furthermore, the Desktop and Wall Mount Kits enable you to place the series either on the wall or on a table.
The products are released for sale throughout Europe in summer 2009.
